How to Determine the Length of an Arc

What is the Length of an Arc? Do you want to know how to determine the length of an arc?  In this article, you will learn how to determine the lengths of an arcs. Follow through to learn.

The length of an Arc means the normal lengths of items and places you know. For instance, the lengths of a piece of string (with an arc, of course, it will be a curved piece of string), cloth, table, class, or any other thing. However, note that the length of an arcs is different from the measure of an arcs which is the degree size of its central angle.

Let’s reason this;

a circle is 360° all the way around; Now, if you divide an arc’s degree measure by 360°, you find the fraction of the circle’s circumference that makes up the arc. Multiply the length all around the circle (the circle’s circumference) by that fraction, you get the length along the arc.

The lengths of an arcs is part of the circumference. It is also equal to the circumference of the circle times the fraction of the circle represented by the measure of the arc.
