using your Credit Card. After selecting the items you want to buy, you need to select Amazon Pay for the Credit Card payment process to be initiated. Their payment system allows the user to use only one credit card per purchase; that means credit cards cannot be combined on a single order. The credit cards currently accepted on Amazon include Visa, MasterCard, and American Express. Debit cards currently accepted include Visa Electron, Visa Debit, and Maestro.
How To Make Payments on Amazon Using Your Credit Card
Amazon allows you to use the payment methods already associated with your Amazon account to make payments for goods and services. For a card to be used for payment on Amazon the buyers must first ensure that the product or service they want to purchase accepts Amazon pay as a payment method.
To add or update a payment method in your Account, simply follow the steps below:
- Firstly, go to your Account payment section, and do either of the following.
(i) To add a payment method, click Add a Credit or Debit card.
(ii) To edit a payment method, click the “manage payment” option. - Secondly, enter the details of your Card where necessary.
Amazon will process your payment using your card details anytime you select Amazon Pay during checkout.
